Today, we’re excited to introduce something brand new to help you better manage our in-home personal training service for seniors: Family Accounts.
Why Family Accounts?
We created Family Accounts for the families of seniors who want the best possible health outcome for them.
Whether you are a senior, or a family member of a senior who is managing a senior’s fitness journey, here is how Family Accounts will help:
- Share ElderFIT trainer notes with loved ones to track progress.
- View upcoming in-home trainer visits, and schedule them too.
- Set up and share multiple payment options.
Fitness for seniors is far more effective when families are aligned. Family Accounts will now accomplish that.
Who should you invite?
- If you are a senior, invite your adult children or close family members who cares for your health and wellness.
- If you are an adult child and manage the account for a parent, then this is perfect for other siblings or family members who want the best for their loved one.
How to Set Up Family Accounts
Getting started is simple:
- Log into your ElderFIT customer dashboard.
- Click on the Family Accounts announcement in top right.
- Click Create Family Account.
At the invitation page, you’ll be prompted to:
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite, and to Select their role:
- Member – Receives session updates, reads trainer notes, and even book news sessions.
- Admin – Receives same updates as Member, but can also book sessions and add a credit card to help pay for future workouts.
Be sure to include a personal message so they understand the invite. For example:
“Hey Mary, I’m inviting you to Dad’s ElderFIT account so we can track his progress like we discussed.”
The person you invited will receive an email invitation and will be able to complete their profile in order to receive up-to-date information about their loved one.
That’s it! Simple, supportive, and shareable.
Payment Sharing Now Available
For families who want to help pay for an ElderFIT trainer’s fitness help, Family Accounts allows for that. Multiple family members can add their payment information to the account to help share in the payment for a trainer.
New members can click do so by navigating to the account Profile, clicking on Payment Methodology, then adding their own payment information. Once that is done, family members can change their default payment method to the one they prefer to use.
This allows multiple loved ones to securely add their credit cards and contribute toward a senior’s in-home fitness program.
Helping care for aging parents is often a family endeavor. Sharing payments will pave the way for more opportunities for families to help out.
We believe aging in place with strength, balance, and personalized support leads to a better quality of life for the elderly and their families. We’re proud to continue innovating to make that possible.
If you have questions about Family Accounts, just send us an email using our contact form. We’re here to help.
With strength and support,
The ElderFIT Team
