About This Role

Are you a fitness professional with a heart for longevity and a passion for helping seniors thrive? ElderFIT.app is looking for dedicated, empathetic, and highly skilled Certified Personal Trainers to join our premier digital marketplace.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between aging and vitality. As an ElderFIT trainer, you won't just be "working out" clients; you’ll be helping them maintain their independence, improve their mobility, and enhance their quality of life. We provide the platform and the specialized audience; you provide the expertise and the motivation. Whether you specialize in chair yoga, strength training for bone density, or post-rehab mobility, we want to help you grow your business within our community.

Responsibilities

As an independent professional on the ElderFIT marketplace, you will be expected to:

  • Custom Program Design: Create and implement safe, effective, and progressive fitness programs tailored to the unique physiological needs of older adults (e.g., balance training, osteoporosis-safe movements, and functional strength).
  • Client Assessment: Conduct initial virtual consultations to assess range of motion, balance, and health history before beginning any regimen.
  • Safety First: Monitor client form meticulously during sessions to prevent injury and adapt exercises in real-time based on the client's energy levels or physical feedback.
  • Engagement & Coaching: Build meaningful relationships with clients, providing the encouragement and accountability necessary for long-term lifestyle changes.
  • Profile Management: Maintain an accurate and professional profile on the ElderFIT app, including up-to-date availability and prompt communication with prospective clients.

Qualifications

We uphold the highest standards for our community to ensure the safety and trust of our senior users. To be considered, you must possess:

  • Current Professional Certification: A primary personal training certification from a NCCA-accredited organization such as NASM, ISSA, ACE, ACSM, or NSCA.
  • Specialization (Preferred): A secondary certification in Senior Fitness, Corrective Exercise, or Medical Exercise (e.g., NASM-SFS or ACE Senior Fitness Specialist).
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with the 65+ demographic or individuals with chronic health conditions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to conduct high-quality video sessions and navigate the ElderFIT app interface.
  • Certifications: Active CPR/AED certification is mandatory.
  • Insurance: Proof of professional liability insurance.
